Edit

As you may have noticed, I do not have much time to update and make live this blog ... Having since writing the first articles reviewed the movie Inception on Blu-Ray, I have many details to add ... to be honest, I even handed my first totally involved interpretation that emerged during my first viewing of the film at the cinema!

I had planned to resume all my articles and write all this in this blog, but I will not do it for two reasons any simple

1 / I have more time today I had to the film's release to power this blog. But that does not stop me from coming there regularly and I enjoy your many quality comments. Thank you for this!

2 / Finally I like the idea of letting this blog "as is" from my understanding of the film just after its first viewing, and the mood in which he put me. All over again in more detail and explain in detail and argued my current theory eventually spoil my fun and a little why I opened this blog at the base.

My articles serve as the basis for the explanation of the key points and key concepts covered in the film, and invite you to the discussion by your reactions. But what are YOUR comments that enrich this blog, and make it more complete and accurate understanding of the film Inception!

Thus, this blog is now especially to YOU all! Let him live by your analysis and comments! :-)

Thank you to you all so ... and most importantly, you continue to take the lead on this beautiful film that has not stopped us gamberger! : D

    Hello,

I looked again last night Inception because I wanted to see if my interpretation is different for several months after seeing it.

I can be detected a new index at the end of the film when Cobb finds his children and takes them in her arms after turning its top.

Indeed, Cobb seeing his children is not interested in spinning he just turn to go to his children. His son, James, he jumps into the arms and the first thing he said to him is: "Dad, I'm building a house on a cliff! "......................

If Cobb is in reality, it's still very strange as the first comment from a child who has not seen his father for two years! But especially the allusion to the construction of a house on a cliff or is clearly in Limbo Cobb and his wife Mal spent 50 years, or the palace of Saito who is on the edge of a cliff in limbo, or more widely to a simple dream where you can build what you want at will ...

New hypotheses arise then to confirm the theory of dreams:

Cobb is still in the process of dreaming. Having managed to wake up and get out of limbo, he built the ideal dream with her children, her house etc ... and leaves his children build what they want in the dream (see last sentence pronounced by his son)

but to go further in the theory of dreams:

Mall attempted an inception on Cobb to try to get him back into reality (in which case it is not a projection but the real Mall Mall, which is present throughout the film), inception that failed. So, Mall allows its children to come and find their father in his dream, only way to see Cobb (who did the memory of them from the back). This would explain the last sentence of James discovering the joys of building dreams and telling his father: "Dad, I build a house on the cliff."

    Or last theory:

Mall is dead (or alive and is in reality but missed its inception, no matter). That's when Miles tries on a Cobb inception the end of the film, accompanied by his children that come from the inception of Cobb own child to more effectively and make him realize that he is still process of dreaming (Dad, I build a house on a cliff ...)

It's twisted, but you can still dig these theories I think.

    What do you think?

Could someone tell me why this is not the flight attendant giving the sleep aid but Fisher Cobb?

    • Lo said:

I think it is purely a choice screenplay. Since Cobb is the primary worker's inception, it's more dramatic if he gives himself the sleeping pill. The idea to show the beginning of its operation in practice is also interesting ...

      • Lo said:

Well, apparently it seems that Cobb also reveals in the film (unfortunately seen for this summer) it is preferable that Fisher remembers his physique for their scheduled meeting in the dream ... Hence the importance of this scene around the glass "sleeping pill".

    Hello,

I auraisune question for all those who bought inception in blu ray or who bought the dream machine: It is shown that there is a bonus which is named confidential file and the first with Hans Zimmer. However I'm scroll down the list of bonus I find not what drive and where its located ... If anyone knows me and he tells her would be nice, thank you!

Good luck for this blog anyway!

For those who do not know yet, there is a slide show (screenshot gallery) of the entire film at: http://www.nolanfans.com/inception/gallery/stills
An ideal way to enjoy the entire structure with a clear head ;-)

The film may as well be a HUGE FLASHBACK between the two scenes Saito old: the first opens the film (flash-forward prologue way) and the second allowing Cobb to kill himself with Saito back to reality / plane.

    Simply magnificent.

Several lexical fields actually reminds me first of all to work on grief and introspection of Dom Fisher on father son relationship. Poverty impact of the character of his father on the viewer is completely paradoxical to the impact it has in so few scenes on her son ... Introspection for Fisher that would lead to a form of "renarcissisation" . It will also existed by the mourning of what he believed to represent him as an image of his father ... I also believe that Helen is "ARIANE" without it being lost in "limbo" remains to find the "Minotaur" which here is imaginary, it is represented by grief, remorse, regret, lack of love .... I know if I'm making myself clear because I express my feelings at 3:30 am ... I still think about the alliance, and the fact has two or three recovery Dom explains that we should not contaminate the totem (basically anything!) so there!! bin!! I still think. Anyway I loved diving into this world ........

Very cool this blog. Especially since I needed to refresh my memory (seen once in the film room) before seeing Inception in ... blu-ray. Especially on the intro / closing in limbo between Saito and Cobb.

it is not in a dream from beginning to end as his totem is a ring (he lee tt time in his dreams) but we actually thought that the router c ((totem of May). the end Nolan zooms in on her hand (she no longer)

    • vivien said:

the ring is no longer at the end (c clearer like this)

      • mel023 said:

you're right for the ring, except that in the end we zoom in on the right hand, and the ring is supposed to be on the left hand, which is hidden by the chair ... but when he wakes up in the air we he did not see his ring in his left ;)

I love everything you did around this film!
Thank you! Thanks to you I could learn more and more explanation about the movie (because I saw him only once, yesterday)!
I support the theory that everything is real, but the end is in limbo

  14. Butcher said:

Quite honestly, I think the main character (DiCaprio) is a dream throughout the film, from beginning to end.

This film describes, or at least trying to describe (i) how a dream is linked together by improbable events, without logical combination, but with only one function, that fills a desire unfulfilled in reality (ii ) the close relationship between reality and dreams, and (iii) that our dreams are perfectly detailed and sophistisqués, except that we remember not wake up.

So I think this character (Di Caprio) lost his wife, his children and his father in real life (that we could not see any point in the film), and through this dream that lasts throughout the film, fills his desire of reunion and overcomes his guilt (feeling accentuated by the music of Edith Piaf "no regret nothing").

Therefore, the inception and extraction are only the fruit from the dream of the Di Caprio and allow it to recover, at least temporarily, in his dream, his wife, his children and his father. Levels inception being then in this case that the different phases of sleep of the dreamer.

Reality we therefore continues everywhere, including and especially in our dreams that only serve to alleviate unsatisfied desires into reality. The dream, as long as it is sophisticated, in the case of Di Caprio, plays only a placebo. It is astonishing that the film begins and ends like a dream. Everything suggests that the early stage marks the beginning of the dream and the ending scene marks the awakening of the dreamer to the extent that his dream has fulfilled its function (ie fill the feeling of seeing his wife, his children and his father ).

Besides those who have lost a loved one often dream of this kind very inconsistent by which they manage to spend time, insconsciemment, with the lost.

The only level of reality is not one we saw in the film and to which the various characters in the film tries to send the character (di caprio) throughout his dream (his wife and his father told him repeatedly, " it is time you came back to reality ").

This film is in my opinion very well done, no matter how late it is willing to lend.

    • admin said:

I also thought many times over the theory ... I keep warm for the post when I have completed the upgrade and facelift of the blog.
But it is very well detailed with your comment!

    • munkyno said:

Very interesting as analysis and hypothesis that more viable in my opinion!

        I finally see this film!
Being a dreamer I really enjoyed myself, and am also confident of seeing out the dream of Cobb.
Explanation that seems most obvious to me.

How does one other thing to spend 50 years in a dream, without eating into the reality?
PS: If you divide the time of the dream by 10, it has been 5 years of sleep! and all that without eating, I say the hefty!

    • admin said:

emboitant in several levels of dreams! You multiply at every level.
      actually say 1h 5h = Level 1 Level 2 = 25h etc ... (and this may be not linear but exponential ...)

re watching the movie instead of talking nonsense like this!
